Dr. Raghav Bhatia qualified with distinction from Norwich Medical School in 2011, earning an open scholarship for academic excellence. He gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014 and completed his cardiology training in August 2024. Dr. Bhatia specialises in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology, and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging. His PhD at St. George’s, University of London (2020-2023), focused on preventing young sudden cardiac death and was funded by competitive research grants from the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young. Dr. Bhatia has received several national and international awards at conferences, including the BCS and ESC Young Investigator Awards and Best of the Best abstract categories. He leads the cardiovascular evaluation of athletes module in the MSc Sports Cardiology at St. George’s and has served in trainee representative roles with the British Junior Cardiology Association and the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society.
