Dr Raghav Bhatia is a Consultant Cardiologist and service lead for inherited cardiac conditions and sports cardiology at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, United Kingdom. He is EACVI and SCMR board certified in cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging. He graduated with distinction from Norwich Medical School in 2011, earning an open scholarship; attained membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014; and completed cardiology training in 2024. His PhD at St George’s, University of London (2020–2023) focused on preventing young sudden cardiac death. Dr Bhatia’s research has received national and international recognition, including the prestigious BCS, EAPC, and ESC Young Investigator awards, and several Best of the Best prizes. He leads the cardiovascular evaluation of athletes module on the MSc in Sports Cardiology at St George’s, University of London. He is also active with national charities supporting individuals and families with inherited cardiac conditions.
