Member of:

European Society of Cardiology

Ahmed is a PhD researcher at department of Cardiovascular sciences , KU Leuven, Belgium. He has been graduated from Faculty of medicine Suez Canal Univeristy in 2013. Ahmed started his Cardiovascular training in 2014 and got his master degree in cardiovascular medicine in 2018. He master clinical history taking and examination skills. He is an independent transthoracic echocardiography operator and reporter. He also has a good experience with interventional coronary angiograpjhy. Ahmed followed a one year training in adult congenital heart disease in Aswan Heart center (Magdy Yacoub foundation) from Sept 2020 to Sep 2021 where he got acceptable skills in congenital echocardiography. He also have basic knowledge of cardiac CT and CMR during this one year training in Aswan. He won the Egyptian ministry of higher education grant to conduct a 4-year PhD at KU Leuvn. Currently, he works in shear wave imaging in pediatric and adult congenital heart disease.
