Dr Maria Poltavskaya, MD, Dr Sci, is a professor of the Chair of Preventive and Urgent Cardiology of the I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University and a practicing cardiologist. She is specially intrested in chronic heart failure and cardio-oncology and she is setting up a cardio-oncology service in the university hospital. She is also conducting a research in the field of exercise testing and skeletal muscle electric stimulation as a rehabilitation modality in advanced heart failure.
