Paolo Verdecchia, formerly Director of Medicine at the Hospital of Assisi and Vice Director of Cardiology at the Hospital of Perugia, is President of the Fondazione Umbra Cuore e Ipertensione-ONLUS at the Division of Cardiology of the Hospital of Perugia, Italy. He gained his MD at the University of Perugia. He is Specialist in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. His scientific interests include Hypertension, Cardiovascular Prevention and Atrial Fibrillation. He is author of about 400 scientific articles quoted in PubMed (abstracts excluded). He published in several major Medical journals (Lancet, JAMA, Circulation, Hypertension, JACC, etc).
