Andrea Guala completed a Ph.D. at the Politecnico of Turin, designing a multi-scale model of the heart-arterial interaction and a subject-specific setting procedure based on non-invasive measurements. Since May 2016 he works on cardiac imaging at Vall d'Hebron Hospital (Barcelona, Spain), where he mainly works on multi-modality imaging in aortic diseases. His research interests cover the field of hemodynamics and large artery mechanics with a strong focus on the physical processes involved
