Dr Rajeev Gupta is currently Chairman, Preventive Cardiology and Internal Medicine at Eternal Heart Care Centre and Research Institute, Mount Sinai New York Affiliate, Jaipur; and Visiting Professor, Medicine and Preventive Cardiology, Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, Jaipur. He is president of Hypertension Society of India 2022-2024. He has been Board Member, World Heart Federation, Geneva. He has pioneered research in cardiovascular epidemiology in India and is a member of steering committee of landmark studies such as PURE, CREATE, JHW, etc. He has participated in numerous international clinical trials. He has more than 800 publications in peer-reviewed journals including Lancet, NEJM, Nature, JAMA, EHJ and BMJ. His research is supported by leading research institutions- NIH, NHLBI, NIDDK (USA) and ICMR, DST and DHR (India). He has mentored dozens of PhD, DNB, MD, MPhil and MSc students and fellows.
