Maria Stratinaki is a consultant in the department of Cardiology in Venizeleio General Hospital in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. She completed her cardiology specialty training at Onassis Cardiac Surgery Centre and pursued a clinical fellowship in acute cardiovascular care at Hospital de la Santa Creu I Sant Pau, in Barcelona, Spain. She is an active member of the young association for Acute Cardiovascular Care of the European Society of Cardiology, appointed member of the ACVC board (co-chair of the ACVC young community 2024-2026), nucleus member of the working group of the CPR and intensive cardiology of the Hellenic Society of Cardiology, as well as ACVC young national representative. She has a special interest in education and simulation, as she is certified instructor and instructor trainer of the European Resuscitation Council. Her research focuses on acute and critical care cardiology, especially in acute heart failure, as well as in cardio-oncology.
