Sing-Chien Yap, MD, PhD, FESC, FEHRA, is the director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Erasmus MC, University Medical Center Rotterdam (NL). He performs the full spectrum of EP, including complex catheter ablations, pediatric ablation, CIED implantations and lead extractions. In addition, he is responsible for the care of patients with genetic cardiac rhythm disease. He has authored >140 peer-reviewed publications (H-index Web of Science 25). His research interests are clinical evaluation of novel EP technology and risk stratification for sudden cardiac death. Dr. Yap completed the 2-year Clinical EP Fellowship program at the Erasmus MC (NL) and finished a 1-year EP Research Fellowship at the Toronto General Hospital (Canada). He is the chair of the Netherlands Heart Rhythm Association (NHRA), the national EP working group. He is honored to be a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and European Heart Rhythm Association (FEHRA)
