Professor Chantal Ski

Dr Chantal Ski is Honorary Professor in, School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen's University Belfast, UK, and Australian Centre for Heart Health, Deakin University, Australia, and is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. Previously, Prof Ski was Director of the Integrated Care Academy, UK, and Director of the Centre for the Heart and Mind, Australia. As a psychologist she has extensive clinical and research experience in psychosocial intervention development and evaluation to improve health outcomes in patients with CVD. Her key area of expertise lies in the integration of health service models of care for patients with CVD across education, health, government, and voluntary sectors. As a researcher, Dr Ski has been awarded over £20M in competitive funding, and publishes widely in journal such as Cochrane Database Syst Rev, Int J Cardiol and Nature Rev Cardiol.
