Dr. Ruperti is a medical specialist in internal medicine and a cardiology trainee and a fellow in the field of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) at the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland and the University Hospital Virgen del Rocio, Spain. He is also a senior researcher at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Basel (CRIB). His current research interests focus on the field of ACHD (especially related to COVID-19 and ACHD, pulmonary valve regurgitation and replacement among patients with a repaired tetralogy of Fallot, systemic right ventricular physiology and dysfunction, and long-term outcomes among patients with an arterial switch operation for the correction of their transposition of the great arteries). Past research was focused on atrial fibrillation and biomarkers.
