European Hospital Georges Pompidou, Paris (France)
I am a cardiologist and vascular physician, working in the vascular medicine department of the Georges Pompidou European Hospital, Paris University.
After a master's degree on arterial stiffness in 2009, I completed between 2015 and 2018 a PhD on innovative applications of ultrafast ultrasound imaging in vascular pathology.
I am working on the use of ultrasound to better evaluate the arterial wall and blood flow. I am participating in the development of ultrafast imaging, which allows access to new wall biomarkers (elastography, pulse wave velocity, microflow detection).
I am also working on the development of cardiovascular therapy using focused ultrasound, particularly on the aortic valve and on thrombus destruction.
