Doctor Ventsislav Grigorov

University Professor Dr Assen Zlatarov, Burgas (Bulgaria)

Dr V. Grigorov is a cardiologist with expertise in clinical cardiology, non-invasive cardiovascular imaging and outpatient cardiovascular care. He graduated in medicine from the Medical University of Sofia and obtained board certification in cardiology in January 2020. He completed his cardiology training at the National Cardiology Hospital in Sofia and joined the Heart and Brain Centre of Clinical Excellence in Burgas in November 2020, where he was appointed Deputy Head of the Cardiology Department starting November 2022. Dr Grigorov holds certification in expert-level echocardiography and has served as both primary investigator and sub-investigator in cardiology clinical trials. His professional interests include echocardiography, cardiovascular prevention, evidence-based medicine, and translational cardiovascular research. Since December 2025, he has focused on academic and research development and serves as Assistant Professor of Pathophysiology at Burgas State University.
