Rickey Carter, PhD, is Professor of Biostatistics at Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. Administratively he serves as the Vice Chair for the Department of Quantitative Health Sciences, the director for the Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design resource in Mayo Clinic’s Center for Clinical and Translational Science, and the scientific director for Mayo Clinic in Florida’s Digital Innovation Lab. Dr. Carter has research interests that span clinical trial optimization to the development of digital biomarkers using machine learning techniques.
