Doctor Francesco Costa

Francesco Costa is an Interventional Cardiologist at Messina University Hospital , Italy. He completed a research fellowship and PhD at Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2018. He trained and obtained a Master Degree in interventional cardiology at the Hospital Clinic, in Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Costa has authored or co-authored many manuscripts published in international journals, several book chapters and presented his research in prominent international congresses. Dr. Costa has been appointed Ambassador of the EAPCI Young initiative for Italy from 2016 to 2018, Grant winner for the EAPCI and ESC training and research activities in 2017, and editorial board member of PCRonline and Circulation:Cardiovascular Interventions in 2018. He has been part of the ESC task force for the guidelines on dual antiplatelet therapy in patients with coronary artery disease published in 2017, and the Academic Research Consortium for non-adherence in clinical trials published in 2019
