Manel Sabaté, MD, PhD; is Chief of the Interventional Cardiology Department at the Clinic University Hospital in Barcelona and Associate Professor of the Central University of Barcelona. From a professional point of view, Manel Sabaté’s experience includes diagnosis and treatment of ischemic heart disease and other cardiac disorders and he is specifically trained at cardiac catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention and treatment of congenital and acquired structural heart disease including transcatheter aortic valve implantation and mitraclip implantation. From the research point of view, Manel Sabaté is author of more than 300 papers (h index 50), >20 book chapters and is the editor of 4 books.
