A cardiologist and a Professor in Cardiology at the Heart and Vascular Theme at the Karolinska University Hospital and the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. Her research currently focuses devices and their implementation and epidemiology in heart failure. Cecilia Linde is Vice President of the Board member of the ESC for the period of 2018-2020 responsible for working groups, councils, women, the young and the membership committee and serves as member of the Congress Programme Committee as topic chair for arrhythmia
