Prof Dr. Amber Ashraf is a trailblazing interventional cardiologist and visionary educator, Fellow of Medicine, Fellow of Cardiology, College of Physician and Surgeon Pakistan, MHPE, currently serving as Chairperson of Medical Specialties and Head of Cardiology at Khyber Teaching Hospital and Medical College, Peshawar. A Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and Pakistan Cardiac Society, she blends cutting-edge clinical expertise with a passion for academic excellence. She leads a high-impact cardiac Cath lab, has mentored thousands in BLS/ACLS, and authored over 50 research publications. As Vice President of the Pakistan Cardiac Society and Chair of Preventive Cardiology, she advocates for heart health—especially in women. Beyond the Cath lab, she is a passionate gardener, explorer of hilly terrains, nature painter, photographer, and dress designer. Fluent in English, Urdu and Pashto, Prof Ashraf’s journey is where science meets art, and healing meets innovation.
