Dr Malgorzata (Gosia) Wamil, MD, PhD, MSc, FRCP, FESC is a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in multimodality cardiac imaging (echocardiography, CMR, and cardiac CT), heart failure/cardiomyopathies. She completed specialist cardiology training at Oxford University Hospitals and hold a role of a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Clinically, she leads multimodality imaging departments, integrating echocardiography, CT, and CMR to refine diagnosis and guide management in complex cardiovascular disease. Trained initially as a basic scientist, she completed an MSc–PhD in Cardiovascular Science at the University of Edinburgh, followed by postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Oxford using advanced imaging to characterise cardiometabolic phenotypes. She serves on the EACVI Scientific Initiatives, Industry, and TOE membership Committees, and has completed the EACVI Leaders of Tomorrow Programme and an ESC-funded MSc in Clinical Trials.
