Dr Siddiqui is a Consultant Cardiologist at South Warwickshire University Foundation Trust, Warwick, UK. He has a special interest in Heart Failure and Device Therapy. He graduated from The Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine and trained in Internal Medicine in London, before commencing his Cardiology Specialist Training in the West Midlands region of the UK. He completed his higher Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Leicester, where his clinical research was in risk stratification for sudden cardiac death.
His main clinical interests are cardiac device therapy and end-of-life care for patients with heart failure. He is particularly interested in patient-centred needs-based palliative care pathways for patients with advanced heart failure.
He is a passionate advocate for Resident doctors, including their training, education and welfare. He actively promotes good physical and mental health and is a keen runner, cyclist, reader and traveller.
