I was born in Siena and I obtained my medical degree at University of Siena. I completed my 5-years training with fellowships in cardiology at the University of Florence. During the postgraduate program I worked as a research fellow at the Cardiomyopathy Unit, University of Florence focusing my studies in Cardiomyopathies and Heart Failure. During my career i spend a training period in Bristol Heart Institute and in CNR, University of Pisa, improving my skills in Heart Failure and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance.
I have completed my PhD program on genetics, oncology and clinical medicine at the University of Siena (20/12/2020). I’m working full time as cardiologist at Careggi University Hospital in Florence with duties in Heart Failure, device therapy and Cardiomyopathies outpatient program. I’m working in collaboration with the University of Florence with Prof Iacopo Olivotto at the Cardiomyopathy Unit (Tuscany referral Center for Cardiomyopathies).
