Doctor Markus Benjamin Heckmann

Dr. Heckmann is a specialist in internal medicine, cardiology, and angiology at Heidelberg University Hospital and a lecturer at Heidelberg University Medical Faculty. He earned his doctorate summa cum laude for research on gene therapy in cardiomyopathy and has been practicing medicine since 2015. His research focuses on cardio-oncology, cardiac gene therapy, and cardiovascular imaging, with numerous publications in these fields.
