Shantanu Sarkar has worked as a scientist at Medtronic Inc. for over 19 years. His contributions to Medtronic products include developing the atrial fibrillation detection algorithms in implantable cardiac monitoring devices and the algorithms for heart failure risk identification and disease management in pacemaker, defibrillator, and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.
