Dr Caughers undertook an HSC R&D PhD Fellowship. Her project sought to codesign and develop attractive approaches to delivering Cardiac Rehabilitation. Outputs included production of a short information video about CR for patients and families, prototype, regional webpage and a Cardiac Brief Intervention, CABIN. Previously a Coronary Care Nurse and Cardiac Cath Lab manager her interests in Cardiology include support and management of anxiety and stress following cardiac event, prevention, quality improvement, education, clinical audit and research.
