Tomas Jernberg is professor in cardiology and head of the Department of clinical sciences, Danderyd Hospital, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. Tomas Jernberg has previously been the chair of the SWEDEHEART registry for many years. His research is mainly about acute and chronic coronary syndrome, and he has more than 250 original publications in peer review journals. He is a member and chair of several steering committees including both randomized (e.g., REDUCE and FAST-CCTA) and observational studies (e.g., FASTEST and SCAPIS).
