Maggie is a senior cardiology nurse, researcher, and medical student with over 16 years of experience in cardiovascular care. Her clinical and academic work focuses on heart failure, congenital heart disease, cardiac obstetrics, and women’s cardiovascular health. She is a Fellow of both the European Society of Cardiology and its Heart Failure Association, and she currently serves on multiple international committees and editorial boards.
Maggie is a fourth-year MBChB student at the University of Edinburgh and has held leadership roles within the ESC Association of Cardiovascular Nurses and Allied Professionals and Scottish Obstetric Cardiology Network. She regularly lectures at national and international conferences and has co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications and national guidelines. She contributes to clinical education, service development, and patient engagement, bringing a multidisciplinary perspective to improving cardiovascular care.
