Doctor Evangelos Tzolos

University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh (United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland)

Dr Tzolos is a British Heart Foundation Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. His research is focused on fusion imaging using PET/CT and PET/MR. He is investigating coronary atherosclerosis using 18F-NaF, in-vivo thrombosis using 18F-GP1 and myocardial fibrosis using 68Ga-FAPI. Moreover, he is interested in perivascular inflammation and is working on biopsy driven studies of perivascular fat as well CT imaging studies using pericoronary adipose tissue attenuation.
