Dr. Edina Cenko MD, PhD, FESC is a clinical research Fellow at the University of Bologna, Italy. Her research mainly focuses on pathophysiological and prognostic insights of sex and gender differences of ischemic heart disease, risk stratification, non-obstructive coronary artery disease, coronary spasm, and coronary microcirculation. She is and has been investigator of multiple clinical research projects and clinical registries involving acute coronary syndromes epidemiology, evaluation, therapy, quality of care and outcomes. Her research has been published in highly qualified international journals. She is currently Chairperson Elect of the ESC Working Group on Coronary Pathophysiology and Microcirculation.
