Member of:

European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging

Dr Nay Aung is a Consultant Cardiologist, Clinical Senior Lecturer and MRC Clinician Scientist specialising in heart failure and cardiac imaging at Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, and Queen Mary University of London. He leads an imaging–genomics research group that pioneers AI-driven image phenotyping, population genetics and multi-omics approaches to advance diagnostic precision, risk stratification and the development of novel therapies for heart failure. He has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications spanning AI applications in cardiac imaging, cardiovascular epidemiology and the genetic determinants of heart failure.
