Prof. Avishay Grupper is the director of the Heart Failure unit at the Shamir medical center and the chairman of the Israeli heart failure working group at the Israeli heart society. He is a professor in cardiology at the Tel Aviv university Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences and is involved in numerous research projects and a wide range of academic activities in the field of heart failure, including primary prevention, acute, chronic and advanced heart failure therapies.
