Dr. Giampiero Vizzari is PhD and Interventional Cardiologist at the "G. Martino" University Hospital of Messina, Italy (Director Prof. A. Micari). He trained as Research Fellow at the Aurora Healthcare Medical Center of Milwaukee, USA and Interventional Cardiology Fellow directed by Prof. F. Versaci. He worked as Interventional Cardiologist at “Giovanni Paolo II” Hospital of Ragusa (Director Dr. A. Nicosia) and “Umberto I” Hospital of Siracusa (Director Dr. M. Contarini). In 2022 he completed a II level Master Degree (MSc) in “Percutaneous interventional treatment of Structural heart diseases" at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. His areas of expertise include Coronary, Peripheral and Structural interventions. He is Faculty member at International scientific meetings (GISE, CCC, EuroPCR, C3, CRT), Board Member of the "GISE Young" and "PCR NextGen" groups, Editorial Board of Cardiovasc. Revasc. Medicine, EHJ-Case Reports, Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.
