Annamaria Kosztin is an Associate Professor in cardiology at the Heart and Vascular Center. She graduated from Semmelweis University in 2011, and completed her Ph.D. in 2017 on the topic of non-pharmacological treatment of chronic systolic heart failure: CRT and stem cell therapy, her supervisor was Professor Bela Merkely. Now she is working as a heart failure specialist, also implanting pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices, she is the head of the device program at the Heart and Vascular Center, Semmelweis University. She has been participating in several heart failure studies and she is the co-principal investigator of the BUDAPEST CRT upgrade study (NCT 02270840).
