My role is the PI in heart failure lab. The goal of the research is the improvement of the prognosis of heart failure through basic and clinical research. As a post-graduate student, I carried out the comprehensive analyses of metabolic remodeling during the transition of left ventricular hypertrophy to decompensated heart failure in rat model. As a physician-scientist, I feel heart failure is becoming a big medical and social problem in developed countries.
