Dr Castro Verdes is a Locum Consultant at Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust, London, UK. She trained in adult cardiology in Vigo, Spain (2011-2016), and subsequently at her current Hospital of practice in echo in critical care and peri-interventional TOE, echo in adult congenital heart disease and in paediatric cardiology. She also trained for one year at Barts Trust, London, UK, in adult congenital heart disease (2019). Dr Castro Verdes is fully accredited (EACVI) in Adult TTE, TOE and ACHD echo, and has completed a Masters Degree in TOE (sponsored by the Spanish Society of Cardiology) at the University of Franscisco Vitoria of Madrid, Spain, in 2017. She has a special interest in echo in congenital heart disease, acute cardiac care and peri-interventional/peri-procedural echo.
