Doctor Omar Chehab

Omar Chehab is an internal medicine resident at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. He earned his MD from the American University of Beirut, and his MSc in Preventive Cardiology from the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London. His primary interest is in cardiology, and preventive medicine, particularly cardiac risk assessment and prevention. He has worked throughout Lebanon and the United States. Omar's work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Omar's passion for cardiology and prevention was clearly demonstrated after being awarded the "Philip-Pool Wilson" prize for excellence in preventive cardiology from Imperial College London. Omar has also recently won a scholarship award to present in the A-CURE meeting in Paris 2019.
