Dr. Livio Bertagnolli, MD, is a cardiologist and consultant electrophysiologist at the Regional Hospital of Bolzano (Italy). He obtained his medical degree from the Medical University of Innsbruck and completed his cardiology training at the University of Verona and the Regional Hospital of Bolzano, following a one-year fellowship in the Department of Electrophysiology at the Heart Center Leipzig (Germany). After completing his training, he worked as a Senior Consultant in Electrophysiology at the Heart Center Leipzig. Dr. Bertagnolli’s clinical and research interests focus on ventricular tachycardia ablation, substrate-based mapping, and the integration of advanced imaging techniques into interventional electrophysiology. He has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications in international cardiology journals and is an active member of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA).
