Marcelo Haertel Miglioranza, MD MBA MHSc Ph.D. – works as a cardiologist and researcher at the Institute of Cardiology/University Foundation of Cardiology. He is Professor at the post-graduation program and the leader of a Research Lab in Cardiovascular Imaging and Innovation. During his formation, Dr. Miglioranza performed an elective training at the Institute of Physiology/CNR, Pisa, Italy (Head: Prof. Dr. Eugenio Picano and Prof. Dr. Rosa Sicari). He also did a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Imaging at Ramón y Cajal Hospital, Madrid, Spain (Head: Prof. Dr. José Zamorano) and another Fellowship at the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular Sciences, University of Padua, Padua, Italy (Head: Prof. Dr. Luigi Badano). His scientific production includes >40 papers (770 citations; H-index = 16 and i10-index = 19) and 10 book chapters, having won 25 honors awards for research production.
