Professor Behr specialises in Cardiac Genetics & Electrophysiology at City St George's University of London & St George's Hospital, London where he co-leads the Inherited Cardiac Conditions clinic. He is past-president of the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions (AICC) & co-leads the Predisposition and Screening Community of the Genomics England Research Network. He founded and chairs the European Cardiac arrhythmia Genetics focus group (ECGen) of EHRA. Professor Behr is an Executive Editor of Europace & co-wrote multiple international guidelines for diagnosis & management of arrhythmia syndromes. His research interests include: pathology, genomics, clinical evaluation & epidemiology of sudden death, the Sudden Arrhythmic & Sudden Infant Death Syndromes; drug-induced arrhythmia; ion channel diseases & cardiomyopathies.
