Dr Elkammash is a clinical supervisor and a trainee at Cambridge University Hospitals. He has 8 years of experience in the field of academic cardiology. He wrote several publications on Cardiology in peer-reviewed journals. He holds a MSc in interventional cardiology and the membership of the Royal College of Physicians in London.
Dr Elkammash's research interest is the interaction between metabolic factors and immune mechanisms on coronary microcirculation. He is interested in the acute care of cardiac patients. He is a member of many Cardiology scientific bodies including the European Society of Cardiology, the American College of Cardiology, and the British Cardiovascular Society.
