Dr. Konstantinos Triantafyllou is a Cardiologist - Electrophysiologist at Hippokration General Hospital, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. After training in General Cardiology in Thessaloniki, Greece, he specialized in EP and Cardiac Devices in the UK (Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital), and Belgium (Hartcentrum OLV Aalst). He holds MSc degree in Biostatistics, and PhD degree in the field of risk stratification - primary prevention of sudden cardiac death in post myocardial infarction patients. He is an EHRA Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (ECDS) and also has the EACVI Certification in Adult Transthoracic Echocardiography. He served as EHRA Young EP Ambassador for Greece (2020-2022) and EHRA Young EP Committee member (2022-2024), and is currently member of the EHRA National Cardiac Societies Committee.
