Doctor Jochen Dutzmann

Jochen Dutzmann gained his MD from the Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany in 2013. During his studies, he spent several months as a visiting student at The Children's Hospital of the University of Colorado in Denver, as a research fellow at the Cardiovascular Division of the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA as well as a MD student at the Dept. of Internal Medicine of the University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He served as a clinical resident and fellow at the Dept. of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine of the Hannover Medical School, Germany and became a specialist for emergency medicine in 2018 and for internal medicine in 2019. In 2019, he started working at the Division of Cardiology, Vascular Medicine and Internal Intensive Care of the Mid-German Heart Center in Halle, Germany as an attending physician and clinician scientist. His research foci are vascular remodeling, acute cardiac care, palliative cardiac care, and medical ethics.
