Doctor Mehrdad Golian

Dr. Mehrdad Golian completed his medical school training, and internal medicine and cardiology residencies at the University of Manitoba. Subsequently, Dr. Golian completed his fellowship training in electrophysiology at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto and completed a Master of Science in health care quality and patient safety at Queen's University. He is currently the quality officer at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, the acting program director of the Adult Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program, and the director of the Atrial Fibrillation Clinic. Dr. Golian's academic interests are patient safety and quality improvement. His clinical interests include complex ablations, complex lead management and device extraction.
