Dr Harskamp is assistant professor and general practitioner at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers - location AMC, The Netherlands. He divides his time between clinical research and providing care for his patients in the multiethnic borough of Amsterdam Southeast. His academic training includes a PhD at the University of Amsterdam and a fellowship at Duke Clinical Research Institute. His goal is to help improve cardiovascular health by studying new ways to improve early detection of common cardiovascular disease states in the community.
