Dr. Glotzer has been a partner at Electrophysiology Associates in Hackensack, NJ since 1995. She attended the NYU School of Medicine, and did her cardiology, and electrophysiology fellowships at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital Center. She is currently the Director of Cardiac Research at Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ, and is a Professor of Medicine at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society.
She has had a longstanding interest in the prevention of stroke, and in investigating the relationship between atrial fibrillation (AF) and stroke. She was part of the writing group for the Heart Rhythm Society Expert Consensus Statement on Remote Monitoring, and for the European Heart Rhythm Association consensus document on Device Detected Subclinical AF. She is currently part of an international collaboration of experts on Screening for AF.
