Professor Michel Burnier

Dr M Burnier is Honorary Professor of the Service of Nephrology and Hypertension in Lausanne University Hospital. He is a Hypertension Specialist previous treasurer of the European Society of Hypertension and member of the Council of ESH for 10 years. He is actually the treasurer of the Foundation of ESH. The main topics of research of Prof. M. Burnier are drug adherence, the renal properties of antihypertensive drugs, prevention of chronic kidney disease and the clinical pharmacology of cardiovascular drugs.
