Professor Tim Leiner

Dr. Leiner is presently Professor of Radiology at the Departments of Radiology, Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Utrecht University Medical Center in Utrecht, The Netherlands. He is the Past President of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) as well as the Society Magnetic Resonance Angiography (SMRA). His research interests center around the development and implementation of new MR techniques for cardiovascular imaging. Dr. Leiner has served as faculty member and member of the organizing committees at the annual meetings of the ESMRMB, ISMRM, SCMR, ECR and RSNA among others. He is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Journal of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (JCMR). Dr. Leiner is the author of over 450 original papers, review articles and book chapters as well as editor of several electronic radiology textbooks.
