Tomas Roubicek, MD, PhD, FESC is a board certified czech cardiologist. His research interests are arrhythmias, cardiac pacing and cardiac resynchronization therapy. He is EHRA certified electrophysiology specialist. Dr. Roubicek was involved in study stays abroad, e.g. at Charité, Berlin, Germany as medical student and later on at St. Marys Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA as a research trainee. Dr. Roubicek is author of numerous highly impacted publications in the field of electrophysiology and cardiac pacing. Since 2014 he has been teaching at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Technical University, Liberec. Since 2006 he has worked at the Department of Internal Medicine, Charles University and General University Hospital in Prague as physician. Since 2009 he works as electrophysiologist at Department of Cardiology, Regional Hospital Liberec. Since 2015 he joined the electrophysiology team of the Institute of Clinical and Experimental medicine in Prague.
