Marta Cvijic received the M.D. and PhD degree from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2018/2019, she was a researcher at Department of Cardiovascular Science, KU Leuven, Belgium, granted by a European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging through a “EACVI research grant”. She is currently a cardiologist at University Medical Center Ljubljana, Slovenia and assistant professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University Ljubljana, Slovenia. She is a national EACVI HIT ambassador. Her research interests include deformation imaging, high-frame rate imaging, cardiac mechanics and cardiac resynchronization therapy.
