Dr Athithan is a BHF Clinical Research Training Fellow currently completing her PhD at the NIHR Leicester Biomedical Research Centre in the field of CMR and Diabetic Heart Disease. She is a Cardiology Trainee in the East Midlands UK And has an interest in Cardiac Imaging , specifically CMR and Echo. She is accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography and is a trainee representative for the Specialist Education Committee for Cardiology Training in the East Midlands.
