Professor Poole is an electrophysiologist who has been a principal investigator on many important cardiology trials, such as the Sudden Cardiac Death in Heart Failure Trial, REPLACE, CABANA and BIOLIBRA trials. She is the past Section Head of Electrophysiology at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA USA. She is a past member of the Board of Trustees for the Heart Rhythm Society and is the current Editor-in-Chief for the HeartRhythm O2 Journal. She is highly published in multiple high impact journals, and is continuing an active academic career.
