Professor Necla Ozer

Necla Ozer completed her medical education and specialized in cardiology at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Medicine. She became associate professor at Hacettepe University in 2002 and professor in 2010. Since September 2014, she is the director of the Cardiology Department and since January 2016 the chief director of adult hospital of Hacettepe University. Necla Ozer has served as Secretary of the Heart Failure Study Group of the Turkish Society of Cardiology between the years 2001 and 2003, as Secretary of the Echocardiography Study Group between 2003 and 2008, as President of Cardiac Imaging Working Group between March 2008 and March 2010. She also worked in the Executive Committee of the Turkish Society of Cardiology. Doctor Necla Ozer, who had studied and worked on echocardiography at Cleveland Clinic, is dealing mainly with echocardiography and valvular heart diseases.
